Gbadamosi Urges Lagosians to Vote for Change in 2027

Babatunde Gbadamosi, the Deputy Governorship candidate for Lagos State from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 elections, emphasized that the upcoming elections provide Lagosians with a chance to liberate themselves from what he termed a ‘smelling and stinking’ Lagos. He criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing to address critical issues such as water supply and waste management.

Gbadamosi stated that the decision lies with the people of Lagos, urging them to vote for change and not to accept the status quo. He referenced the recent elections in Osun State, where citizens opted for freedom, suggesting that Lagosians have a similar opportunity in 2027.

Gbadamosi highlighted the importance of the electorate's choice, stating that politics does not guarantee outcomes and that the people must decide whether they want to continue living in poor conditions. He also criticized the focus on political appearances without real solutions to the state's challenges.
