Jigawa APC Committee Submits Report to Governor Namadi

On May 22, 2026, a committee established by Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi submitted a report following consultations with aspirants from the All Progressives Congress (APC). The committee, led by chieftain Isah Gerawa, aimed to listen to grievances and promote unity within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Although the primaries were reportedly conducted peacefully, Governor Namadi deemed it necessary to continue consulting stakeholders to ensure every party member feels respected and to strengthen unity. The report was presented to Governor Namadi at the Government House in Dutse by committee chairman Muhammad Dudu, who commended the governor's foresight in establishing the committee.

The committee met with 400 people across the state, touring 27 local government areas to engage with aspirants and address differences. Governor Namadi expressed gratitude to the committee for their hard work and urged them to continue fostering reconciliation and unity within the APC until the elections.
