APC Urges Anambra Members to Unite for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, the National Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) tasked party stakeholders in Anambra State to prioritize peace and unity in preparation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoye, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the APC and head of the five-man committee, stated that a peaceful environment is crucial for electoral success.

He highlighted the committee's efforts to reconcile aggrieved members following the suspension of some by the Senator Emma Anosike-led executive. The committee, inaugurated on July 21, 2026, aims to address the roots of the crisis, including allegations of improper conduct regarding party officials and election processes.

Nwoye warned against repeating past mistakes and stressed the importance of unity to prevent opposition parties from exploiting divisions. He emphasized that a united party can effectively mobilize for the elections and support the Renewed Hope Agenda.
