Kwankwaso Engages ADC, NDC for 2027 Election Talks

Rabiu Kwankwaso, a prominent political figure, is currently engaged in discussions with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as part of his strategy for the 2027 elections. Mansur Kurugu, the spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya movement, confirmed these developments to Daily Trust, stating that the talks are ongoing and aim to lead to a unified political platform.

While a final decision on which party to adopt has not yet been made, Kurugu expressed optimism that Kwankwaso will ultimately choose between the ADC, NDC, or even the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). The discussions are significant as they involve notable political figures, including Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, and Bayelsa Senator Seriake Dickson, who were present at a recent event in Kano on Sunday.
