APC Demands Accountability from Makinde Over Campaign Funds

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that Governor Seyi Makinde will be required to account for all public funds expended on his presidential ambition. This statement was made by APC's Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare.

The party criticized Makinde, who is the presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), asserting that he lacks the personal qualities, experience, and strategy necessary to be the next President in 2027. The APC described Makinde’s presidential ambition as a mere charade and indicated that he is being monitored as he pursues a political journey that they believe is doomed to fail.

They emphasized that he would be made to "cough out" all public funds wasted on this endeavor, highlighting their stance on accountability regarding the use of state resources.
