Aspirants Seek Labour Party Nominations for 2027 Elections

As the 2027 general elections approach, prominent aspirants are actively seeking nominations from the Labour Party. Labaran Maku, a former minister, is pursuing the Labour Party ticket for the Nasarawa North senatorial district.

Ishaku Abbo has obtained a nomination form to contest the Adamawa State governorship election. Other aspirants include Emmanuel Ben for the Akwa Ibom governorship race, Adamu Bako for the Akwanga North/Eggon/Wamba federal constituency seat, Jess Jame Ayenajeh for the Toto federal constituency seat in Nasarawa State, and Chidieber Darlington Anyanwu for the Ahiazu/Ezinihitt federal constituency seat in Imo State.

Maku praised the Labour Party leadership for the transparent nomination process and expressed confidence in the party's electoral prospects, asserting that Nigerians will embrace Labour Party as a credible political alternative. He emphasized the party's growing momentum, particularly in Nasarawa State.
