Medugu Declares Candidacy for Adamawa North Senate Seat

Alh Hamisu Idri Medugu, a prominent businessman and politician from Adamawa State, has officially declared his intention to vie for the Adamawa North senatorial seat in the 2027 elections. Medugu made this announcement during an iftar dinner held in Yola, where he gathered friends, well-wishers, and stakeholders to solicit their support.

He aims to represent the people of Adamawa North in the National Assembly, succeeding the current senator, Amo Yohanna, who recently defected from the APC to the PDP. Medugu expressed his genuine concern for the people who feel left behind in terms of development and representation.

He emphasized his commitment to addressing humanitarian issues, education, health support, and empowerment for youth and women. Medugu, who holds a traditional title, promised to restore pride and dignity to the senatorial district and serve with honesty, dedication, and empathy.
