Aondoakaa Returns to PDP, Clarifies Reasons for Move

Michael Aondoakaa, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, confirmed his return to the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stating that his decision is not influenced by Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia or Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume. During an interview on Arise Television's morning show on Wednesday, Aondoakaa described his move as a necessary step to enhance the development of Benue State.

He expressed a desire to increase funding for President Tinubu's reforms aimed at improving rural areas, providing food and shelter, and ensuring the full realization of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals in Benue State. Aondoakaa also highlighted the importance of enforcing state laws, including the anti-grazing law, to address local issues effectively.
