Sule Endorses Wadada for 2027 Nasarawa Governorship

On Thursday, during a meeting in Lafia, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State announced Senator Aliyu Wadada as his preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election under the All Progressives Congress (APC). Sule explained that the decision followed a comprehensive consultation process that involved discussions with various stakeholders, including youth groups, women organizations, traditional rulers, and potential foreign investors.

This process aimed to identify a suitable candidate capable of winning the election. Sule expressed confidence in Wadada's ability to sustain and advance the administration's development policies.

He noted that the consultations narrowed down to three aspirants, with further discussions leading to the final decision in favor of Wadada. Sule called on all political appointees and stakeholders to work towards actualizing Wadada's candidacy and to support him without fostering divisions within the party.
