NDC Sets N60m Fee for 2027 Presidential Nomination Forms

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that the fee for the presidential nomination form for the 2027 elections will be N60 million. Moses Cleopa, the party's national chairman, disclosed this information in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.

The sale of nomination forms will commence on May 13, 2026, and will run until May 18, 2026. Following this, a screening exercise for aspirants will take place from May 21 to May 23, 2026, with the deadline for form submission set for May 25, 2026.

The presidential primary election is scheduled for May 29, 2026. Cleopa also mentioned that aspirants for various positions, including state house assembly and governorship, will have different fee structures, with female aspirants and persons living with disabilities receiving discounts.

The NDC aims to conduct a transparent and credible primary election process.
