NDC Sets N60m Fee for 2027 Presidential Nomination

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that the fee for presidential nomination forms for the 2027 general elections is set at N60 million. This includes N20 million for an expression of interest and N40 million for the nomination form.

The party's timetable indicates that the sale of forms will commence on May 13, 2026, and close on May 18, 2026. Screening interviews for aspirants will take place from May 19 to May 21, 2026.

The submission of completed forms is due by May 25, 2026. The NDC will conduct its presidential primaries on May 29, 2026, in Abuja.

Additionally, the party has established reduced fees for women and persons living with disabilities, with female aspirants paying 50% of the fee and persons with disabilities receiving a 75% waiver. The NDC emphasizes its commitment to a transparent and inclusive democratic process throughout the primaries.
