NDC Forms Reconciliation Committees for 2027 Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) inaugurated reconciliation committees on Thursday in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Moses Cleopas, the national chairman of the NDC, appointed Professor Pat Utomi as the chairman and Buba Galadima as the co-chairman of the committee.

Cleopas urged the committee to conduct its work with fairness, impartiality, integrity, and adherence to the party's constitution. He instructed the committee members to engage widely, reconcile sincerely, and prioritize justice and the party's interests in their decisions.

Cleopas reassured all aspirants of the party's appreciation for their contributions, stating that the emergence of a single candidate for each position does not diminish the value of others. He called for an inclusive campaign where every member has a role, and every grievance is heard, urging all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to cooperate with the committee.
