NDC Inaugurates Reconciliation Committees for 2027 Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) inaugurated reconciliation committees on Thursday, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Moses Cleopas, the national chairman of the NDC, appointed Professor Pat Utomi as the chairman and Buba Galadima as the co-chairman of the committee.

Cleopas emphasized the importance of fairness, impartiality, integrity, and adherence to the party's constitution in the committee's work. He urged the committee members to engage widely, reconcile sincerely, and ensure that justice and the party's interests guide their decisions.

Cleopas reassured all party aspirants of their value, stating that the emergence of a single candidate for each position does not diminish the contributions of others. He called for an inclusive campaign where every member plays a role and every grievance is heard.

Cleopas urged all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to fully cooperate with the newly formed committee.
