NDC Leaders Meet to Strategize for 2027 Elections

On a Wednesday, a delegation of lawmakers led by Victor Afam Ogen, the House Minority Leader, visited the Abuja residence of NDC national leader Seriake Dickson. The meeting included prominent figures such as former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The lawmakers reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals of the NDC and emphasized the importance of holding the federal government accountable as the nation approaches the 2027 general elections. Ogen described the NDC as a major opposition party in the House of Representatives, noting its growing number of lawmakers and influence.

Kwankwaso praised the loyalty of the lawmakers to the party, calling it a rare quality in Nigerian politics. He urged Nigerians to obtain voter cards in preparation for the upcoming elections and called for intensified grassroots mobilization across constituencies.
