APC Women Leader Declares No Vacancy in Aso Rock

On Wednesday, Dr. Mary Alile, the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that there is "no vacancy" in the Presidential Villa, indicating that Nigerian women are fully mobilized to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at the APC’s Sensitisation and Empowerment Programme on Gender Equality and Adequate Representation in Governance, known as the Project 774 Explode Initiative, Alile expressed confidence that women would deliver over 67 percent of the votes for Tinubu. She emphasized the importance of continuity in governance, citing reforms like the student loan scheme.

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa highlighted gender equality as a moral obligation and called for greater inclusion of women in leadership roles. The program aimed to equip women with skills for active participation in governance.

Mrs. Esther Aiyedatiwa noted the initiative's focus on overcoming barriers to women's leadership, while Dr.

Seun Osamaye discussed ongoing empowerment programs benefiting women across the state.
