North-West Urged to Support Tinubu for 2027 Election

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani called on the people of the North-West to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the need for the region to reciprocate the administration's interventions with votes. This statement was made on Saturday through his Special Adviser on Politics, Abubakar Muhammad Mamadi, during the inauguration of coordinators and members of the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” support group for the seven North-West states in Kaduna.

Mamadi highlighted that the North-West has significantly benefited from Tinubu's administration, particularly in agriculture, education, youth empowerment, and women’s development. The support group aims to mobilize voters across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara states.

Convener Mike Auta urged members to engage in grassroots mobilization, while women’s leader Karima Abdullai noted that many women have benefited from cash assistance and empowerment programs. Farida Ahmed Bala, Director of Town Hall Engagement and Special Duties, appealed for patience with the administration, likening nation-building to renovating a neglected house.
