Ogun APC Names Adegunwa-Balogun as Deputy Candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has nominated Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun as its Deputy Governorship Candidate for the upcoming 2027 elections. This decision was made during a strategic caucus meeting held at the party's secretariat in Abeokuta.

Adegunwa-Balogun, who hails from Ososa Town in Odogbolu Local Government, is the daughter of industrialist Alhaji Sulaiman Adegunwa, the founder of Rite Food. The nomination was endorsed by Governor Dapo Abiodun, who emphasized the importance of consensus in the selection process.

Adegunwa-Balogun expressed gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to work diligently to advance the interests of Ogun State. She is recognized for her qualifications and experience, having been among 17 women who showed interest in the deputy governor position.

The APC aims to present a united front in the lead-up to the elections, ensuring a rancor-free primary process.
