Oyo APC Forms Reconciliation Committee for 2027 Elections

The Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formed a reconciliation committee to pacify aggrieved members in light of recent developments within the party. This decision was announced in a statement signed by Wasiu Sadar and made available to Daily Post on Sunday in Ibadan.

The committee is expected to address dissatisfaction stemming from the outcomes of the party's primary elections. It will consist of notable figures, including Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Brimo Yusuf, Hosea Agboola, and others.

The committee's mandate is to resolve grievances and ensure harmony within the party as it prepares for the 2027 general elections. The committee is expected to be inaugurated next week, with the state chairman, Chief Mose Alakade Adeyemo, tasked with reaching out to stakeholders, including dissatisfied aspirants.

The goal is to unify the party and enhance its chances of success in the upcoming elections.
