Oyo APC Candidate Appoints Yemi Aderibigbe as Campaign DG

On Tuesday, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election in Oyo State, appointed Yemi Aderibigbe as the Director-General of his campaign council. The announcement was made in a statement signed by Alli in Ibadan, the state capital.

Alli praised Aderibigbe for his reputation as a selfless political leader and his extensive experience in grassroots mobilization, referencing Aderibigbe's previous role as Chairman of Akinyele Local Government Area. Alli emphasized Aderibigbe's unwavering commitment to the welfare of ordinary people and his contributions to the political, social, and economic development of Oyo State.

He urged Aderibigbe to utilize his leadership skills and understanding of Oyo State politics to coordinate the party's campaign activities effectively. Aderibigbe has also served as Special Adviser on Transport during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
