Alli Promises Reconciliation and Education Reform in Oyo

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Oyo State in the 2027 election, announced on Monday that his efforts to reconcile aggrieved party members are yielding positive results. Speaking during the Nigeria Union of Journalists’ program "A Day with BSA" at the NUJ Press Centre in Ibadan, he expressed confidence that the APC would approach the next general election as a united political force.

Alli emphasized that restoring unity within the party is a priority following his candidacy, with ongoing consultations with stakeholders. He mentioned meetings with aspirants and influential leaders, including President Bola Tinubu's engagement with former APC governorship candidate Teslim Folarin to facilitate reconciliation.

Alli also outlined his educational policies, promising to reduce class sizes in public schools, rehabilitate infrastructure, and provide free quality education. He plans to enhance technical and vocational education to equip youth with employable skills, aiming to promote entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment.
