APC and PDP Clash Over Prof. Isa Pantami's Membership

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) are currently in a dispute regarding the membership status of Prof. Isa Pantami.

The APC, represented by Mr. Mose Kyari, stated that Pantami remains a bona fide member of the party, claiming that no resignation letter has been received or deliberated upon by the ward executive.

Kyari emphasized that any claims of resignation are unfounded and made without the knowledge or approval of the ward executive committee. Conversely, the PDP, through its state public secretary Abdulkadir Ahmad Dukku, contended that Pantami has duly complied with constitutional requirements to resign and possesses relevant documents to confirm this.

The PDP called on APC members and the general public to disregard the misleading claims made by the APC. Dukku further criticized the APC for focusing on distractions rather than preparing for the upcoming general elections.
