PDP Open to Alliances for 2027 Elections, Says Umar Sani

Umar Sani, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), disclosed that the party is open to forming alliances in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made during an interview on Arise Television on Tuesday.

Sani asserted that the PDP is the strongest political party in Nigeria and is ready to accommodate alliances and collaborations. He expressed confidence that the current situation on the ground indicates a lack of acceptance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which he described as an agent of poverty and poor governance.

Sani stated that Nigerians are openly rejecting the APC due to its perceived failures, and he believes that the PDP is prepared to provide a viable alternative for the electorate.
