PDP Urges Niger Candidates to Focus on Issues for 2027

The Niger State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has charged its candidates for the 2027 general elections to focus on issue-based campaigns and to shun personal attacks. During a presentation of certificates to candidates emerging victorious in the party's primaries, State Chairman Hon.

Aliyu Halidu Moham urged candidates to uphold the ideals of the PDP and work closely with party structures, particularly the 25 local government chairmen and ward chairmen. He described grassroots mobilization as critical to the party's success in the upcoming elections.

Moham further appealed for unity among party members and stakeholders to collectively reclaim power in the state. Former First Lady of Niger State and Senator Zainab Kure commended the party's flag bearers for their loyalty and commitment, urging them to remain steadfast and prepared for the 2027 elections.

The PDP presented certificates to three senatorial candidates, six House of Representatives candidates, and 24 State House of Assembly candidates who emerged victorious in the primaries across Niger State.
