Niger PDP Candidates Receive Certificates for 2027 Elections

On a recent date, the Niger State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) held a ceremony in Minna to present certificates of return to its candidates for the 2027 general elections. Among those receiving certificates was Alhaji Abubakar Sulaiman, who was affirmed as the party's governorship standard bearer.

The event also recognized three senatorial candidates and six candidates contesting for the House of Representatives, along with 25 candidates for the State House of Assembly. The state chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Aliyu Halidu Moham, presented the certificates and congratulated the candidates on their primary election victories.

He urged collaboration between state and local government secretariats to ensure successful elections next year and called for a united effort to reclaim power from the APC in the state. Zainab Abdulkhadir Kure, a former first lady and senator, commended the candidates for their loyalty and commitment to the party.
