Peter Obi Challenges Tinubu to Debate Ahead of 2027

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a presidential candidate for the 2027 elections, publicly challenged President Bola Tinubu to a debate. This challenge was issued during his guest lecture at the NextGen Mentorship Leadership Initiative program at Madonna University in Okija, Anambra State.

Obi expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of Nigeria and criticized the federal government for allegedly attempting to prevent his candidacy in the upcoming elections. He asserted that efforts would be made to ensure he does not appear on the ballot, but he remains focused on his vision for Nigeria, which he believes should function effectively for all citizens, regardless of ethnic background.

Obi urged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and emphasized the importance of voting to secure a better future for the country.
