Peter Obi Unhappy Over Crisis in OK Movement, Spokesman Says

Ladipo Johnson, a spokesman for Rabi’u Kwankwaso, stated that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is not pleased with a growing leadership dispute within the OK Movement. During an interview on Arise Television, Johnson acknowledged the emergence of tensions within the Movement but characterized it as a temporary setback rather than a significant threat to its political objectives.

He noted that the disagreement arises from differences between some members and the Movement's leadership, cautioning against actions that could divide supporters of the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso alliance. Johnson warned that such developments might undermine efforts to establish a strong political alternative for the 2027 elections.
