Peter Obi Concerned Over OK Movement Leadership Crisis

Ladipo Johnson, spokesperson for Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, revealed that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is dissatisfied with the ongoing leadership crisis in the OK Movement. During an interview on Arise Television, Johnson acknowledged that disagreements have surfaced within the Movement but characterized them as a temporary distraction rather than a significant threat to its political goals.

He indicated that the dispute stems from differences between some members and the Movement's leadership. Johnson warned that if not managed properly, this crisis could hinder efforts to create a strong political alternative for the upcoming 2027 general election.

He also mentioned that Obi had been informed about the situation and expressed his unhappiness regarding the discord. Johnson emphasized the importance of unity among supporters to avoid actions that could create divisions within the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso alliance.
