APM Launches 2027 Presidential Campaign in Abuja

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has officially commenced its 2027 presidential campaign, with Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde as the presidential candidate. The campaign office, named the Makinde/Daura Presidential campaign office, was commissioned in Abuja on Monday.

Abubakar Yusuf, the National Publicity Secretary of APM, stated that the office will serve as the national coordinating hub for an issue-based, people-driven campaign aimed at ensuring the victory of its candidates. The campaign will emphasize solutions and present Makinde's policy choices and governance record to the electorate.

Since the selection of Makinde and Alh. Lawan Daura as the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, the party has seen a significant increase in membership and support, reflecting public confidence in their integrity and performance.

Makinde has engaged in extensive consultations with political leaders and communities to understand Nigerians' aspirations and concerns, which will inform a comprehensive national agenda. APM plans to unveil a detailed policy blueprint addressing Nigeria's pressing challenges.
