Data Guru Urges Politicians to Prioritize Nigeria First

John David, known as the “Data Guru” and CEO of Data Addicts, called on Nigerian politicians from all parties to prioritize the national interest over personal ambitions in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. Reflecting on the recent Osun State election, he praised citizens for their efforts in defending their votes against alleged attempts to impose candidates and destabilize the state.

David stressed that “Nigeria and Nigerians must come first” and warned against political competition that could threaten democratic stability. He commended international observers for their contributions during the Osun elections and urged the United States and Europe to maintain their engagement with Nigeria’s democratic process, asserting that “the stability of Nigeria is the stability of Africa.” Additionally, he called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to fully utilize technology to enhance transparency and minimize post-election disputes, while encouraging political parties and their supporters to engage in peaceful competition.
