South East Labour Party Backs Agada for 2027 Presidency

On Wednesday night, Labour Party chairmen from the South East endorsed Dr. Peter Agada, the former national chairman of the party, as their preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections during a high-level consultation meeting held in Umuahia, Abia State.

This endorsement is part of a broader effort to consolidate support for Agada's presidential ambitions and to mobilize grassroots engagement across the region. The meeting included key figures such as Peter Okoy (Anambra State), Ugwu Kingslei (Enugu State), and Ijeoma Chukwu (South East Coordinator).

Agada's consultations also involved a separate meeting with the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Dai, focusing on strategic partnerships for the upcoming presidential contest. Agada's campaign emphasizes infrastructure-driven governance and reform, aiming to address Nigeria's infrastructural challenges through a technocrat-led approach, leveraging his extensive experience in infrastructure strategy and project management.
