Abba Tajudeen Secures APC Ticket for Zaria Constituency

Abba Tajudeen, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has successfully secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) return ticket for the Zaria Federal Constituency in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement process occurred on a Saturday, where Tajudeen emerged unopposed following a peaceful exercise conducted across 13 electoral wards, including Kwarbai, Kwarbai B, Limancin Kona, Unguwar Fatika, Unguwar Juma, Dutsen Abba, Gyallesu, Kufena, Dambo, Wuchichiri, Tudun Wada, and Tukur Tukur.

The exercise saw a large turnout of APC members, with 1,376 members endorsing Tajudeen as the party's flagbearer. The process was supervised by Malam Iliyas Muhammad Balarab, the ward APC return officer, and was monitored by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Yakubu Oseni, the APC chairman for the House of Representatives primary election in Kaduna State, expressed confidence in Tajudeen's victory in the upcoming elections.
