ADC's Nwosu: 2027 Elections Require Party on Ballot

Raph Nwosu, the chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declared on Wednesday in Abuja that the 2027 elections will not take place without the ADC being included on the ballot. He noted that the ADC has already secured the required statistical numbers to participate in the elections.

Nwosu criticized the current political landscape, attributing challenges faced by political parties to a culture of impunity within Nigerian politics. He mentioned the significant achievements of the ADC and its coalition with other parties, particularly the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by incumbent President Bola Tinubu.

Furthermore, Nwosu highlighted the need for the ADC to take a leading role in the coalition, asserting that there is nothing wrong with this approach. He also referenced the recent sack of Senate President Godswill Akpabio as part of the ongoing political dynamics leading up to the 2027 elections.
