Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Nomination with 10.99M Votes

Bola Tinubu has been declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 elections, having received 10.99 million votes in the party's primaries. The primaries took place across 8,809 wards nationwide, with Tinubu defeating his closest rival, Stanlei Osifo, who received 1.65 million votes.

The results were announced during an event at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, attended by APC governors from 31 states and top party officials. Tinubu's performance was dominant, winning in 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where he achieved 100% of the votes.

In contrast, Osifo's notable performances were limited to a few states, including Kano, where he received 2,675 votes, Lagos with 1,186 votes, and others like Abia, Oyo, Benue, and Nasarawa.
