Tinubu Support Group Engages South-East Pentecostals

The Renew Hope Greater Nigeria (RHGN) support group is actively seeking the backing of Pentecostal clerics in the South-East region for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election campaign in 2027. Mazi Franklin Ngoforo, the Deputy National Coordinator of RHGN in the South-East, disclosed this during a closed-door meeting in Awka, Anambra State, attended by various clerics from five states.

Reverend Gilbert Umenadili of God's Love Revival Ministry Inc. spoke on behalf of the clergy, urging the church to remain loyal and sustain prayers for Tinubu's administration. Ngoforo outlined Tinubu's achievements in the South-East, including the proposed creation of additional states, the advancement of state police implementation, and increased federal allocations.

The group aims to mobilize four million votes for Tinubu by deploying 50-man teams at polling units and engaging religious institutions to influence public opinion. The RHGN also plans to collaborate with traditional rulers and market leaders to strengthen support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
