Yari Affirms Tinubu's Victory Path for 2027 Elections

Senator Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara West), the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu's faith in God, his performance in office, and the council's ability to persuade Nigerians will secure Tinubu's victory in the upcoming 2027 general election. Yari made these comments while speaking to journalists in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he accompanied President Tinubu for the Muslim pilgrimage, Umrah.

Tinubu had departed Abuja for Makkah to engage in this spiritual exercise, which allows for reflection and prayers for Nigeria's peace and progress. During his time in the Holy Land, Tinubu emphasized the significance of divine intervention in leadership, stating that only Allah can determine a leader's fate.

Yari reiterated the importance of this election, suggesting that it is divinely ordained, and expressed hope that the APC-PCC's campaign efforts would convince Nigerians to re-elect Tinubu in the January 16, 2026 presidential election.
