Uba Sani Will Not Anoint Candidates, Says APC Group

The Mafita Progress Leadership Network, a support group for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, has publicly stated that Governor Uba Sani will not be anointing candidates for the forthcoming elections. Comrade Zahraddeen Hamza Tuge, the group's secretary, explained that this declaration is intended to counter distractions from the governor's effective governance.

The group expressed concerns about potential divisions within the party and urged members to focus on strengthening the party and ensuring its success in the 2027 elections. They called on party aspirants to avoid unnecessary distractions and channel their energies towards building the party.

The group reaffirmed their commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, highlighting the governor's dedication to peace, development, and political inclusivity in Kaduna State. They also encouraged APC members, stakeholders, youth, and women to work collaboratively to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Sani in the upcoming general elections.
