Amaechi Urges Nigerians to Vote Experience Over Ethnicity

Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of River State and a presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed Nigerians in Abuja, emphasizing the importance of voting based on experience and capacity rather than tribal or religious affiliations in the 2027 elections. He stated that Nigerians should assess candidates based on their proven achievements and ability to govern effectively.

Amaechi, who recently submitted his presidential nomination form at the ADC national secretariat, criticized the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the economic difficulties faced by the nation. He urged voters to focus on merit and the welfare of citizens rather than sectional interests, warning that ethnic sentiments have contributed to Nigeria's current challenges.

Amaechi expressed his belief in his leadership experience and capability to transform the country, urging Nigerians to evaluate his record as a governor and as the former Minister of Transport.
