APC to Collaborate with Adeleke for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

Senator Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced the party's commitment to collaborate with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and other political entities to garner support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. During a visit to congratulate Adeleke on his victory in the August 15 governorship election, Basiru projected that this collaboration could yield approximately 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in Osun.

He acknowledged Adeleke's endorsement of Tinubu and expressed optimism about the governor's active campaigning in the state. Basiru, who previously served as the campaign coordinator for APC candidate Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, called for unity among party members to ensure electoral success.

He reflected on the painful defeat in the governorship election but urged stakeholders to focus on state development and collaboration for the benefit of Osun residents. Basiru's visit was also to appreciate Adeleke's support during his mother's burial.
