Prophet El-Buba Shifts Support to Adebayo for 2027

Prophet Isa El-Buba, a Nigerian cleric, has publicly announced his change of support from Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Congress, to Princ Adewol Adebayo of the Social Democratic Party ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a statement released to the Daily Post on Wednesday, El-Buba expressed that Adebayo possesses a better vision for Nigeria.

He cautioned that the country must not slide into a state of despair, raising concerns about the current state of the nation. El-Buba lamented that despite Nigeria's abundant natural and human resources, millions of citizens continue to struggle with insecurity, unemployment, poverty, and social injustice.

He attributed these issues to a failure in leadership that deprives citizens, particularly the youth, of opportunities for growth, quality education, and economic prosperity. El-Buba emphasized the need for Nigerians to unite and rewrite the country's history, stating that the nation cannot continue under ineffective leadership.
