Kashim Musa Tumsah Declares Intent to Run for Yobe Governorship in 2027 Elections

Kashim Musa Tumsah has announced his bid to run for the Yobe State governorship in the 2027 elections, emphasizing the importance of providing quality leadership for the state's growth and development. Tumsah made his declaration at an event organized by the Yobe First Movement (YFM) in Kano, where he received support from various groups urging him to vie for the position.

The YFM Director-General, Lawan M. Ibrahim, highlighted Tumsah's track record of humanitarian assistance and commitment to addressing social and community needs in the state over the past two decades.

Tumsah is set to contest on the APC platform, with a focus on improving education, water access, road infrastructure, and empowering rural areas with solar power and street lighting.
