Hunye Challenges Ogun APC Primary Results in Court

In the Ogun State APC governorship primary held in May, Adeola was declared the winner with 304,055 votes from 305,287 accredited voters, while Hunye, his only challenger, received no votes. Following this outcome, Hunye filed a lawsuit against the APC and Adeola, alleging widespread irregularities and disenfranchisement of his supporters.

On Wednesday, Hunye met with the leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Abeokuta, reaffirming his commitment to the lawsuit and emphasizing the importance of truth and fairness in governance. He expressed concerns about Adeola's transparency regarding his origins and connections to Ogun State, stating that trust is essential for the future of the state.
