Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi Delay Campaign Council Announcements

The presidential campaign councils for Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) have not yet been announced, as both candidates are engaged in ongoing consultations. Phrank Shaibu, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku, stated that details regarding the campaign council and the official launch will be revealed at the appropriate time, urging Nigerians to be patient.

He emphasized that Atiku is focused on engaging with citizens about pressing issues and will unveil a transparent fundraising model in due course. Meanwhile, Osa Director, NDC National Publicity Secretary, indicated that Peter Obi's team is also consulting on the campaign council's composition and timetable, with a meeting scheduled for next weekend to finalize details.

The NDC plans to campaign in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with potential visits to some states twice.
