PDP Begins Sale of Nomination Forms for 2027 Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), supported by Nyesom Wike, announced the commencement of the sale of nomination forms for the 2027 general elections starting Monday, May 1, 2026. The party has set the price for presidential nomination forms at N50 million (N50,000,000) and governorship forms at N20 million (N20,000,000).

Additionally, the fees for senatorial aspirants are pegged at N5 million (N5,000,000), while those seeking House of Representatives positions will pay N3 million (N3,000,000), and state assembly aspirants will pay N2 million (N2,000,000). The sale of forms will conclude on May 4, 2026, with the final submission deadline set for May 9, 2026.

The party has scheduled various primary elections, including presidential primaries on May 17-18, 2026, and governorship primaries on May 27, 2026. The appeal process for election outcomes will take place on May 30, 2026.

This announcement follows the PDP's 108th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at Wadata House in Abuja.
