Wike's PDP Sets 2027 Presidential Form at N51 Million

The Nyesom Wike-backed faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the pricing for nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections. The presidential nomination form is set at N51 million, while the governorship form costs N21 million.

The prices for other positions include N6 million for Senate, N4 million for House of Representatives, and N3 million for State House of Assembly. Female aspirants will pay a reduced fee of N1 million across all offices.

The sale of forms will commence on April 27 and conclude on May 4, 2027. The party has scheduled its presidential primary election for May 11, 2027, with screening for state and national assembly aspirants on May 12.

Additionally, the Supreme Court is set to hear an appeal concerning a previous PDP convention held in Ibadan on November 15-16, 2025, which is being contested by a faction led by Turaki.
