Adamawa APC Launches Campaign for 2027 Elections

The Adamawa state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) officially launched its presidential and National Assembly campaigns for the 2027 elections in Yola, in collaboration with the door-to-door movement for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the North East. The event, held on Wednesday, was attended by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who was represented by his Deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta.

Fintiri expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his contributions to Nigeria's progress and assured him of Adamawa's support in the upcoming elections. He stated that Adamawa is an APC state and will continue to support the party, aiming to secure victories in presidential, gubernatorial, national, and state assembly seats.

Mustapha Salihu, the immediate past APC national vice chairman for North East and senatorial candidate for Adamawa central, described the flag-off as the start of a new era, praising Tinubu’s leadership in security and economic initiatives. Zakari Hashimu, the North East zonal coordinator of the Back to Back movement, urged party members to rally around the president and other APC candidates.
