24 Abducted Kogi Worshippers Freed After Negotiations

In Kogi state, 24 worshippers, including elderly women, men, and teenagers, who were abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits while in church on December 14, 2025, have regained their freedom. The victims, part of a group of 37 parishioners initially kidnapped, engaged in negotiations with their abductors, resulting in the release of 24 individuals.

Aiyetoro Kiri Bunu Development Association worked alongside affected families to secure the release of the abducted parishioners. The remaining victims are still undergoing negotiations for their release.
