Terrorists Free Final Batch of Kidnapped Kogi Christians After Ransom Payment

Terrorists have released the last batch of six abducted Kogi Christians after a ransom payment was made following intense negotiations that lasted for weeks. The victims, who were taken from the Aiyetoro Kiri community in Bunu land, Kogi State, had been held captive since December 14, 2025.

The Aiyetoro Kiri Bunu Development Association (AKBDA) confirmed the release, marking the end of a traumatic ordeal for the victims and their families. The community expressed gratitude for the safe return of the abducted individuals and called for improved security measures to prevent future attacks.
