24 Dead in Ondo After Consuming Herbal Liquid

Twenty-four people have died in Ondo State after consuming a herbal liquid substance, as confirmed by the state government. The fatalities occurred in two locations: eight in Araromi Obu and 16 in Odigbo town, both situated in the Odigbo Local Government Area.

In addition to the deceased, other individuals who ingested the substance have been hospitalized for treatment. However, local authorities have not yet established a direct link between the herbal substance and the deaths.

Medical examinations and laboratory tests are required to ascertain the actual cause of the fatalities. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday, prompting an investigation by state authorities to further explore the circumstances surrounding these deaths.
