25 Nigerian Army Personnel Graduate Aviation Fuel Course

On Wednesday, a graduation ceremony was held at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna for 25 personnel from the Nigerian Army who successfully completed an Aviation Fuel Handling Course. This course, which began on April 16, 2026, was designed to build the capacity of the Nigerian Army Aviation (NA Avn) fuel handlers and managers.

The graduating class consisted of five officers and 20 soldiers from the Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport (NACST). Brig Gen B.

Yusuf represented the Command of the 71 Supply Transport Brigade, while Maj Gen N.D. Shagaya represented the Command of the Corps of Supply and Transport.

Air Vice Marshal Adeniran Kolad Ademuwagun, representing the Deputy Command, commended the participants for their resilience and discipline throughout the course. He urged the graduates to uphold the highest standards of safety in aviation fuel handling and to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to improve operational effectiveness.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of certificates and awards for outstanding performance during the course.
