Akwa Ibom Celebrates 27 Years of Aviation Development

The arrival of a new Airbus A220-300 at Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo marks a significant milestone in Akwa Ibom State's aviation development, representing 27 years of continuous policy execution across four governors. This initiative began in 1999 when Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien, Victor Attah, and Senator Udoma Udo Udoma conceptualized the state's aviation strategy during a trip to Houston, Texas.
